Abstract: the paper introduces the reasons for handover,the classification of handover failures,and the related main signalingprocess. The paper also presents a method to optimize the process of handover, designs handover signaling flow on the side of UE, and uses TTCN as simulation tools, considering the RRC layer as the simulation object and the other layers as simulation environment to simulate handover process.
